The Roots

Kathmandu, Nepal. This is a place where I would never have dreamed about setting foot on. My selection of my second major, Asian Studies, was due to my concentrated interest in East Asia and Southeast Asia. However, I am thrilled to delve into this country that is nestled in between India and China.

Originally, I had intended to study abroad in Kunming, China, but unexpected circumstances occurred and I found myself taking this fantastic opportunity to study abroad in Kathmandu, Nepal instead. Although this destination wasn't the one that I had spent months prior planning for, I truly believe that this change of events occurred for a reason. And I will cherish this study abroad experience as much as any other.
